1. EVEN ORGANIZED BRIDES NEED A LITTLE HELP!

Most of today's brides work full time and/or attend school; as do most of their moms! They need help keeping track of all the many details involved in planning a wedding. A good consultant can make phone calls, create worksheets, and do lots of the paperwork and legwork for them.

2. AN IMPARTIAL PROFESSIONAL CAN BE A BRIDE'S BEST ALLY!

When planning a wedding two things can be counted on: lots of emotions and lots of advice! A good consultant can be an understanding ear when these emotions need to be vented and expressed. She can be an excellent sounding board for ideas, fears, and concerns. She can also counsel about sticky family situations, because most bride's have similar problems when planning an event this meaningful to everyone involved. She can help you sift through all the advice and find a way to fulfill the bride's or couple's desires without hurt feelings.

3. A CONSULTANT AND A COORDINATOR ARE DIFFERENT!

A consultant or planner listens to your dreams and advises you on how to bring them to life. She helps choose colors, florals, venues, etc. A coordinator handles the rehearsal direction and all the wedding day details. She makes sure the flowers are pinned on, the candles are being lit, and the bridesmaids walk in the correct order. Most brides find that they need a planner/consultant/coordinator all in one person.

4. YOU CAN AFFORD IT!

Most wedding planning and coordinating professionals charge a percentage of the entire wedding budget. Valerie Linker prefers to charge a flat package fee for her services to insure that the bride gets exactly what she wants for the price she wants! Valerie strives to keep her prices the lowest in the state, and offers serveral choices in packages and a la carte services as well.
